
Maid-Rite Loose Meat Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 1 lb of Ground beef
- ¼ cup of Water or enough to cover meat
- 1 tbsp of Yellow mustard
- 1 tsp of Sugar substitute with stevia
- 1 tbsp of distilled White vinegar
- ½ cup of Onion chopped plus more for topping
- 1 tsp of Salt
- ½ tsp of Black pepper
- 4 Hamburger buns split whole wheat
- Toppings such as cheese ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, mayonnaise, and/or pickles, for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown beef, over medium heat, while breaking up the clumps. Then add the diced onion, season with salt & pepper, and cook until the beef is no longer pink.
- Drain the fat.
- Mix in the vinegar, mustard, and sugar.
- Add enough water to cover the meat, bring it to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer, until all the water is gone.
- Serve meat on steamed buns with desired toppings.
